Financial Times Names Wescott a Top Registered Investment Advisor in U.S.
PHILADELPHIA, June 16, 2016 — Wescott Financial Advisory Group has once again been named a top financial advisor by the Financial Times, appearing on their 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers list.
Recognizing stand-out independent RIA firms from across the United States, Wescott has been included on the FT 300 list since its inception three years ago.
“It is an honor to be continually included on the Financial Times’ top 300 list among our true peers in the nation,” said Grant Rawdin, Wescott founder and CEO. “To be recognized by a respected and influential publication like the Financial Times is a tribute to our dedication to client service, commitment to innovation and most importantly, our stellar team.”
The FT 300 list is produced independently by the Financial Times Ltd. in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. More than 1,500 pre-screened RIA firms were invited to apply for consideration, based on their assets under management (AUM). Applicants that applied were then graded on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm’s advisors; online accessibility; and compliance records.
The “average” FT 300 firm, hailing from 34 states and Washington, D.C., has been in existence for 22 years and manages $2.6 billion in assets.
Currently celebrating its 29th year, Wescott is rated one of the top wealth management firms in the United States, recognized as leading the investment and financial planning industry in innovation, growth and size. The firm has built a team of interdisciplinary subject matter experts with credentials including J.D.s, LL.M.s, CPAs, Ph.D.s, MBAs, CFP®s and CLUs, who have substantive backgrounds in investments, financial planning, law and taxation.
