The council is composed of 20 industry leaders who assist CNBC, a trusted source of financial and business news, by helping its audience better understand investment terms and strategies. Formed more than a year ago, the council’s members share their diverse experience and insight through relevant columns on CNBC.com and on-air appearances on CNBC.
“I am honored to join the council and look forward to sharing my wealth management expertise and knowledge with CNBC and its audience,” said Rawdin, who is an attorney, an accountant and a certified financial planner. “The constant flow of financial news can be overwhelming for investors trying to make the right decisions for their future. As a part of this group of industry leaders, I hope to lend a clear and knowledgeable voice to the conversation.”
Since its creation more than a year ago, the Digital Financial Advisors Council has become increasingly popular among CNBC’s audience.
“Just this past December, monthly visitors to our financial advisors hub grew by 40 percent compared to the same time period last year,” said Jim Pavia, senior editor at large at CNBC Digital. “The demand for quality, long-term investment information is very high. We are proud to welcome Grant and the other new members to our esteemed Financial Advisor Council so we can continue to help our audience better navigate the multitude of complex investment options and strategies available to them.”
